What Is a Do The Beach Adventure Park?

What happens when two successful leaders in the entertainment industry join forces? They end up creating a brand new family-focused park that features some of the most innovative and imaginative designs ever built for an inflatable park.

Do the Beach Adventure Parks are the brainchild of the people behind Galaxy Multi Rides, a global leader in creating attractions that appeal to kids, teens and adults. Each franchise location will have an inflatable Do The Beach Adventure Park that features both inflatable and interactive mechanical attractions. Everything is designed with a boardwalk, beach and ocean theme.

Franchise owners can complement the inflatable park by choosing attractions from a long list of options, including a Blast Beach Nerf Arena, arcade games, climbing walls, gel blasters, party rooms, a dining area and much more.

The business side of the operation also features one of the best talents in the industry. Do The Beach Adventure Parks Co-Founding Partner, Curt Skallerup, previously founded and served as CEO of Altitude Trampoline Parks. Under his guidance, the company grew into a global brand, with 90 locations in eight countries, before being sold to a private equity fund in 2018.

This combination of creative and business leadership makes Do the Beach a unique opportunity for franchise owners across the country.

Who is Galaxy Multi Rides?

Galaxy Multi Rides has provided the attractions that have entertained millions of people since its founding in the 1980s. Founded in Great Britain, the company initially specialized in mechanical bulls that come with a wide array of ride attachments.

But that just proved to be the start. Galaxy Multi Rides has expanded in the years since, creating increasingly inventive attractions. They include the Galaxy Ninja Courses, interactive action games and surf simulators. They also created the Galaxy Inflatable Parks that have been installed at more than 70 locations around the world, including Dubai, Northern Ireland and locations across the United States.

For Do the Beach, Galaxy Multi Rides will have complete control over the design, quality and safety of each attraction. Galaxy CEO Robin Whincup will also have the CEO position for Do The Beach. Mike Whincup, COO of Do The Beach and head of design and marketing at Galaxy Multi Rides, will oversee attraction designs. Mike Whincup is an IAAPA-certified attractions executive who was nominated in 2020 as IAAPA young professional of the year.

Who Is Curt Skallerup?

Curt Skallerupp built Altitude Trampoline Parks into a worldwide franchise before selling to a private equity fund in 2018. He is bringing his core executive team with him to Do the Beach Adventure Parks.

The team has many long-time relationships with suppliers and franchisees, and also experience in setting up successful businesses. They have experience in active entertainment industry-related finance, real estate, construction, manufacturing and operations.

Skallerup says that the goal for Do The Beach is to become the preeminent operator and franchisor of entertainment concepts throughout the U.S., with franchise opportunities that appeal to owners at all  financial levels.

What Will Be Available at Do The Beach Inflatable Adventure Parks?

Every Do The Beach Inflatable Adventure Park functions as a giant, interconnected beach-themed inflatable park with multiple interactive attractions. Each park is customized to fit the space at the location. The goal is to provide a fun, safe and clean environment for children and families.

Some of the options for Do the Beach Inflatable Adventure Parks attractions include the following.

Roller Coaster-Themed Obstacle Challenge. A dual-lane obstacle course where multiple players challenge each other to see who can complete the challenge first.

Boardwalk Action Climbing Frame. A modular soft play structure that allows users to explore the upper levels of the adventure park. A slide takes kids back to ground level.

Giant Sand Castle Slide. Users climb inside of the Giant Sand Castle and then take a slide out of the opposite side.

Octopus Run. Players must leap and bounce across multiple inflatable octopi without falling off.

Black Jack’s Sunken Pirate Ship Venture Play. Kids can explore Black Jack’s long lost pirate ship - and look for the hidden treasure (but watch out for the giant Kraken guarding the ship)!

Kraken Kapow. An interactive, mechanical maze. Players race opponents through the maze while avoiding the spinning tentacles of a Kraken.

Wipeout Zone. Players stand on soft pedestals in an inflatable arena and must jump to avoid the inflatable arms of the spinning sweeper.
